Decision to be Finalized Tomorrow; Devaswom Board to Restrict Spot Bookings for Makaravilakku
Pathanamthitta: To manage the crowd during Makaravilakku, the Devaswom Board has imposed restrictions on spot bookings at Sabarimala. This initiative aims to reduce the number of individuals spot bookings on January 13, the day before Makaravilakku, and on January 14, the day of the event.
As part of efforts to control the rush, a limited number of bookings will be allowed on these dates. A maximum of 5,000 people will be permitted to spot bookings on January 13, while only 1,000 spot bookings will be available for booking on January 14.
The final decision on this matter will be made tomorrow by the Travancore Devaswom Board, which is closely monitoring the situation to ensure effective crowd management during the peak period of the pilgrimage.
